Kelly Brown Illustration

Hi there!

I'm Kelly, an illustrator based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I graduated from The Animation School in 2017 and over my career I've worked on various projects in areas like children's book illustration, children's educational content, character design and pattern design.

I love working with bright colours and incorporating natural pastel and pencil textures in my digital work. I'm particularly passionate about creating fun, engaging and colourful work in the realms of children's education and entertainment, usually for a younger age group.

When I'm not drawing I enjoy drinking boba tea, re-watching my favourite shows & movies, and browsing the children's section in the bookstore!
